A brand identity crisis

My current logo is a slice of grapefruit. I was happy with this until last night, when I started watching a Jim Gaffigan comedy special in which he called grapefruits the worst fruit.

This is making me second-guess my choice of fruit mascot. I mean, I like them, but they’re not the best fruit. They’re too acidic. You wouldn’t want a grapefruit first thing in the morning. In fact, strawberries are much better than grapefruits.

But I can’t make my logo a strawberry! That has even less to do with the word “Katelade” than grapefruit, which can at least be made into marmalade.

And as you know, I’m leaning on the whole “lemonade/marmalade” thing to lend the name, Katelade, some vague semblance of meaning.

So a grapefruit it shall remain… until I get a better idea.
